Viability Scan

This pregnancy scan confirms the presence of a heartbeat, the position of the fetus, checks for a multiple births and gives an estimate of expected delivery date.
Nuchal Scan

This pregnancy scan looks at the nuchal translucency, and nasal bridge for any abnormalities.
Gender assessment will only be available after 12 weeks.
Early Gender

Advanced testing allows Dr Penman to determine the gender of your baby from 6 weeks!
As well as an ultrasound, a blood sample will be taken and the reveal sent to you the following day!
NIPT Testing

Alongside completing an ultrasound baby scan, Dr Penman will take a blood sample which is sent for testing and will detect 99% of abnormalities such as Downs, Edwards & Patau syndromes.
Wellbeing Scan

This pregnancy scan checks growth of the baby, liquor volume, movement and placental position. This scan also notes gender for those that wish to find out.
Anomaly Scan

The Anomoly scan is designed to check all structures, including heart chambers, brain, head circumference, length, liquor volume etc.
Late Growth Scan

The Late Growth scan is designed to checked the growth, weight, liquor volume and blood dopplers for flow through the umbilical artery.
Rainbow Scan

A Rainbow scan is for post miscarriage to check that your body has recovered before trying for another pregnancy.

NIPT Testing

NIPT Testing involves taking a blood sample alongside completing an ultrasound baby scan. The blood sample is sent for testing and will detect 99% of abnormalities such as Downs, Edwards & Patau syndromes as well as sex chromosome abnormalities, with the results back in 2-4 working days.
