Cancellation and Refund Policy

Fetal Medicine UK has a strict policy that if appointments are rescheduled or canceled 48 hours or more before the appointment day, a full refund will be issued.

If the appointment is canceled or rescheduled less than 48 hours before the appointment day, no refund will be allowed.

Please note that should 3D or 4D imaging not be possible, this is not a reason for a refund as we do not charge for 3D or 4D simply because of the nature of these scans, imaging at the time that is good enough to create 3D and 4D may not be possible due to various factors beyond our control. Mr Penman does not offer free rescans in this instance.

Please also note that should Dr. Penman not be able to detect the gender of your baby at your medical scan, this is not a reason for refund or rescan.

Equally, with the NonInvasive Prenatal Tests, should the laboratory take longer than the predicted time to return the results, this is not a reason for Dr. Penman to refund. You can discuss any refund you feel you are owed with the laboratory directly.
